Struggling with high pet food prices? The West End Pet Pantry is a volunteer-led program that offers free supplemental dog and cat food to West End pet guardians. The program operates out of the West End Resource Centre (WERC) at 823 Ellice Ave.

The West End Pet Pantry volunteers are on site every second Tuesday from 3:00 - 4:30pm at WERC. If you cannot make it to the open hours, the pet pantry is typically stocked with dog and cat food throughout the week as well. You may pick up emergency pet food at any time if it is available. If the centre door is closed, visit the service window from 1 - 5pm on weekdays and ask for pet food. **Please remember that supplies are limited and pet food may not be available outside of regular pet pantry hours,
