Our service window is located at the front of the building on Ellice Ave. Stop by!
We serve snacks and drinks to local youth every day from 3:00 - 4:30 pm! Tell youth in the neighbourhood to stop by and get one of our famous sandwiches on their way home from school!

Our Afterschool Snack Program offers:
Water/Iced Tea/Hot Chocolate
Snacks (Sandwiches/Treats)
We serve drinks and snacks to local schoolchildren and youth every day through our service window from 3:00 - 4:30pm, immediately following school dismissal. This is when many children experience hunger due to household food insecurity and for many children in the West End, the hours after school can be the hungriest part of the day. Through this program, WERC ensures children have access not only to food, but also to care, safety, and a welcoming point of connection as they head home from school.
